See, this is why I love getting comments on my blog... because it introduces me to other bloggers and I keep discovering such cool stuff! This time, it was a sweet message from Charlotta that led me to her blog, Charlotta Ward Art, Design, Decor. She creates delightfully whimsical creatures, including a lot of birds... like these:

Her art includes lots of other charming creatures, like rabbits, dragons, and hedgehogs...

This one is my favorite. Love the nesting birds!

and speaking of bunnies, I swooned when I saw this handpainted mural by Sharon, my good friend over at Great Paint for Great Homes.
This isn't a bunny, but I'm in love with this gorgeous transferware cup seen over at Cabin and Cottage

7 The best part of blogging is hearing from you!!:
Charlotta's designs are just as cute as can be! I enjoyed visiting her site and seeing more of her work. And thank you, too, for mentioning my bunnies. Very kind of you Anne! Glad to see you and your computer are back together.
That mural is just amazing. I'm in love!
I love Charlotta's work--nature and whimsy is my favorite combination. The hedgehogs and elephant are my favorites. Thanks for the intro--I'll be visiting her blog.
The mural is exceptional and I'm in love with the cup too!
I love the bunny mural! wish I could do that. I did do a Winnie the pooh and his friends one time on a bedroom mural project. It was fun I used an overhead projector to ge the tracing s on the wall then just colored in the characters. I think that Charlotta should do illustrations (mixed media style) for a childens book series. looks like she could make a fine living at that. Kids and parents alike will love it!
Hi Anne! These are great! That art is so whimsical and adorable and I love the pottery. I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and have a beautiful day today! :)
XOXO
Anne thank you so much for featuring me here! I'll be sure to put up a link to you on my blog, that will stay there permanently.
Have a lovely rest of the week.
xx Charlotta
Thanks for the mention, Anne! I had seen Sharon's darling mural. And great to see Charlotta's art. She's such an original!
